In today's fast-paced world, working mothers often we find ourselves caught in a perpetual juggling act, trying to maintain a delicate balance between work, kids and our husband. The demands of the workplace and the needs of a family can sometimes feel like competing forces, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and stretched thin. However, with the right time management techniques, setting boundaries, and prioritizing self-care, it is possible to do all of this while still retaining their sense of self.

One of our biggest challenges is managing our time effectively. Between deadlines at work, school pickups, baby needs and household chores, finding time for everything can feel like an impossible task. I myself like to use "Microsoft To Do" after having my son keeping up tasks became really difficult for me. So I started doing lists with deadlines and reminders to keep up at work and home.

This is important I did not understand this at first coming from a hispanic family where we are taught house chores are only for women I went crazy after having my son between work, baby, husband, house... I didn't have any time for myself and ended up burnout.

Delegate tasks that are not essential for you to do personally, allowing you to focus on the most critical activities. Remember, it's okay to ask for help—whether from your partner, family members, or colleagues. Collaboration and delegation can go a long way in lightening the load.


Setting Boundaries


Setting boundaries is crucial for us to protect our time and well-being. Establishing clear boundaries at work can help prevent burnout and ensure that you have time for your family and yourself. Communicate your limitations to your colleagues and supervisor, and be willing to say no to additional tasks when your plate is already full.


Similarly, setting boundaries at home is essential to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Designate specific times for work, family, and self-care, and communicate these boundaries with your loved ones. It's important to create a separation between work and personal life to avoid feeling overwhelmed by the constant demands of both spheres.
